On October 20, 2010 Chairman Hu Qili met with a19-member delegation of Zhong Shan Sun Yat-sen Study Institute(ZSYSSI) led by Sun Bisheng (great-grandson of Sun Mei who was Sun Yat-sen's elder brother). China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) Executive Vice Chairman Chang Rongjun and Secretary General Li Ning also attended the meeting.

Chairman Hu Qili warmly welcomed the delegation. He said that it was of special significance that the delegation followed Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary footstep to Beijing and Tianjin area during the centenary of the Revolutionof 1911. CSCLF and ZSYSSIwere set up at similar times with parallel aims, holding high the great banner of Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching Ling. Chairman Hu hoped that the delegation could share their valuable experience with CSCLF so as to work together and carry forward the spirit of the couple.

ZSYSSIPresident Huang Hongquan introduced Zhongshan City in south China and a series of ongoing activities related to Mr. Sun. Meanwhile, President Huang pointed out that there are insufficient research manpower and studies done on his cultural resources and legacy. Nor there are enough communication channels among different regions. ZSYSSI President Yang Hai gave a brief introduction of its current work and hoped to deepen the cooperation to carry out a series events of the centenary of the Xinhai Revolution

Secretary General Li Ning also introduced CSCFL's work from key projects, public welfare and public relation perspectives.(translated by Sun Chi)
