The donation ceremony is held in Shaotong, southwest China's Yunnan Province on June 30, 2015.
"China Ronald McDonald House Charities" donated 10 ambulances, the total value of over 2 million yuan, to 10 town health clinics in Shaotong, southwest China's Yunnan Province on June 30, 2015. This aims to improve the medical emergency ability of the quake-hit Ludian area.
After the earthquake, the health system and facilities in 6 districts in Shaotong were damaged badly. There are only 28 ambulances in 63 town health clinics, which are in serious shortage. The 10 ambulances donated by "China Ronald McDonald House Charities" will build a green channel for more critically sick patients. Jointly established by the McDonald's China Co., Ltd and the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF), "China Ronald McDonald House Charities" has been actively participating and supporting disaster relief and after-quake reconstruction. The charity has donated cash and materials worth of more than 30 million yuan in total since 2006.
