Grand Prix to Commemorate Victory of Chinese People's Resistance against Japanese Aggression

The press conference of the RW50 Tengchong the Ultimate 50 KM Trail Running Grand Prix was held in the Soong Ching-Ling's Former Residence on July 6, 2015.

Jointly sponsored by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) and Yunnan Overseas Friendship Association, the RW50 Tengchong the Ultimate 50 KM Trail Running Grand Prix will be held in Tengchong, southwest China's Yunnan Province, on August 8, 2015, to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of Chinese People's Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascism War. Over 100 participants from 11 countries and regions will compete along the march route of the expeditionary army in Yunnan, and experience the battlefield where they fought.

Jing Dunquan, Vice Chairman of CSCLF, handed the race flag over to Gao Min, representative of Olympics champions at the press conference. Gao handed the flag over to the representative of athletes to complete the flag presentation ceremony, which marked the official start of this race.
