CSCLF Executive Vice Chairman Meets with New Zealand's Ambassador

Qi Mingqiu, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) met with Don McKinnon, New Zealand's ambassador to China, along his delegation in Soong Ching-Ling's Former Residence on July 3, 2015.

Qi expressed his welcome to the visit of McKinnon, and introduced CSCLF's objectives and its international cultural exchanges. Qi said there was big cooperative space between China and New Zealand in the field of folk communication and people-to-people exchange, as the relation between the two countries develops smoothly. The foundation has been inheriting and carrying forward Madame Soong Ching-Ling's course of promoting international friendship and keeping world peace since its establishment. He hoped that we can improve the friendship and promote the people-to-people exchanges between the two countries by cooperation with related organizations in New Zealand through the New Zealand Embassy in China.

Ambassador McKinnon thanked Qi for the meeting. He hoped to strengthen communication with the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation to promote the cooperation between the foundation and related organizations in New Zealand in multiple areas, improve the mutual understanding and deepen the friendship between people in the two countries.
