Co-established by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) and China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), the signing ceremony of the 2015 CNOOC University Student Fund was held at the Soong Ching-Ling's Former Residence on September 25, 2015.

Jing Dunquan, CSCLF vice chairman, and Wu Guangqi, CNOOC deputy general manager and CNOOC Foundation chairman attended the signing ceremony.

The two sides started to cooperate from August, 2003. The fund has devoted to helping university students from poor families, connecting financial support with talent developing, developing their healthy mentality and perfect personality, and promoting their comprehensive development for 12 years through systematic implementation and professional management.

Jing Dunquan, CSCLF vice chairman, expressed the sincere gratitude about CNOOC's 12-year-long cooperation with CSCLF to develop the fund. Jing also expressed his expectations that aided students should cherish the time and study hard.

He firmly affirmed the friendly cooperation between the two sides, and said they would support the foundation on charity course, the development of university students, and make more efforts to help the country raise more talented people.

Until now, CNOOC has donated over 40 million yuan to CSCLF. The CNOOC University Student Fund has covered 37 universities, supported 12,000 university students from poor families directly, and the related charity activities have involved over 1 million students.
