CCPPRA Delegation Visits CSCLF

25 members from the China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification in Asia (CCPPRA) delegation visited China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) and the Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling on March 24, 2016. Qi Mingqiu, Standing Vice Chairman of CSCLF, and Tang Wensheng, Vice Chairman of CSCLF, met the delegation.

Qi and Tang expressed their warm welcome to the delegates from South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. Qi said the delegates had made great contribution to promoting the peaceful national reunification policy these years. This year was the 150th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. The visit was very meaningful, and delegates could understand the cross-strait policy and development of the nation during the visit. Qi also the peaceful national reunification needs their efforts and contribution. We should follow Dr. Sun Yat-sen and Madame Soong Ching-ling, work as the ambassadors of peace, and contribute to the diplomatic career and great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Chen Fupo, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification (Japan), expressed gratitude to Qi and Tang's warm reception on behalf of the delegation. Chen said the Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling is the first stop of their visit in Beijing. The China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification (Japan) had inherited Dr. Sun Yat-sen's wish to promote the national unification. The China Councils for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification in all these countries would like to make efforts and contribute to the great rejuvenation and reunification of the Chinese nation.

The delegation was invited by the China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification to visit China. Chen Aimin, Director of Communication Department of CSCLF, accompanied the meeting.
