Qi Mingqiu Meets with Pakistan Senator

Qi Mingqiu, Standing Vice Chairman of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF), met with Pakistan Senator and Parliamentary Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Mushahid Hussain Sayed, at the Soong Ching-Ling's Former Residence in Beijing on May 23, 2016.

Qi Mingqiu showed welcome to the Pakistan Senator and introduced the recently works of CSCLF. Qi said, over the past many years, China and Pakistan send mutual respect and trust to each others, and thus China and Pakistan had accumulated sincere and deep friendship. Soong Ching Ling has been dedicated to promote friendly relations between China and Pakistan, and CSCLF also keep long-term cooperative relations with a number of friendly organizations in Pakistan. Qi highly praised Mr. Mushahid for his outstanding contribution to the promotion of relations between China and Pakistan. He hoped that both sides would make good use of each other's advantages, including the long-term and all-around cooperation on the establishment of think-tank, youth exchanges and academic forums, in order to strengthen the friendship between people of both countries and to promote the development of China and Pakistan friendship.

Pakistan Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed said Soong Ching Ling has a profound relationship with Pakistan and she had made great contribution to the development of relations between the two countries. He hoped that both sides would broaden their cooperation to wider fields, especially in humanities and youth exchanges.
