Walt Disney Donates 11.6 Million to CSCLF

Walt Disney announced on June 8 to cooperate with China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) and Shanghai Charity Foundation by donating a total of 20 million rmb to help establishing Disney Theme Game Space in the children's hospitals in some Chinese cities, also aiming to help providing medical games for children. And 11.6 million of them are donated to CSCLF in order to set up Disney Children's Hospital Fund. Jing Dunquan, Vice Chairman of CSCLF, Shen Xiaoming, Member of Shanghai Municipal Committee and Party Secretary of Pudong New Area, Song Yiqiao, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Charity Foundation, Robert Iger, Chairman and CEO of Walt Disney and Jiang Zhongyi Director of Shanghai Children's Medical Center attended the donation.

Robert Iger announced the sponsor project. Jing Dunquan and Song Yiqiao received the donation board from Iger. In the upcoming 5 years, the fun will be used in over 50 children's hospitals in China for the development of game space and medical games. And Shanghai Charity Foundation will carry out the project in Shanghai and surrounding cities. CSCLF will be responsible for the project in rest of the cities around China.
