Nowadays, young people have become the main subject of public welfare innovation and practice. Youth public welfare and social development have become a hot topic at the Cross-strait Public Welfare Forum.

Experts and scholars discussed how to deepen the platform construction of the forum, strengthen the interactive and communicative mechanism construction of the forum, integrate public welfare resources across the strait, improve the ability to serve people's livelihood of public welfare organizations across the strait from both theoretical and practical sense, which provided theoretical and practical instruction for the innovation and development of cross-strait public welfare exchange and cooperation.

Qi Mingqiu, Standing Vice Chairman of CSCLF, hoped the forum would promote the public welfare culture, to better serve the public and help the disadvantaged group, as well as build a harmonious society. He also hoped the forum would innovate the public welfare idea, and deepen public welfare practices.

Zhao Yi, Chairman of Taiwan Association for the Promotion of Chinese Culture, said the cross-strait communication and cooperation lost its balance in recent years. If the Taiwan side only asked for preferential policies, it would not be good for the long-term development of cross-strait relation. Taiwan did successfully in its public welfare area, and had some experiences worthy of sharing.
