Qi Mingqiu firstly showed welcome to Mitchell Stanley and the delegation and thanked NCSD for the great support to CSCLF. He said it is very important to promote the mutual understanding and respect among different cultures in the way of human communication in Sino-US ties. In recent years, CSCLF has been dedicated to promoting friendly relations between China and the US to carry out a number of friendly exchanges and cooperation. He hoped that both sides would be able to give full play to their respective advantages in future to continuously deepen their cooperation in the fields of women, children, youth and cultural exchanges, as well as the think tank construction and other aspects. He suggested that both sides can jointly organize international forum in the related fields of humanities and women, and to finally realize the goal of building a bridge between China and US, with culture as their carrier.

Mitchell Stanley highly praised CSCLF for its outstanding contributions to serving women, children and youth for many years. He was very much looking forward to the both sides' comprehensive cooperation in cultural exchanges in future.
