Discussion on Chinese-Western Cultural Exchange Held in Former Residence

September 15 is the traditional Mid-Autumn Day. The International Committee for the Promotion of Chinese Industrial Cooperatives (ICPCIC) and the Research Center of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) held a discussion on Chinese-western cultural exchange in the Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling. Those attending the activity included Tang Wensheng, CSCLF vice chairperson, Michael Crook, chairman of ICPCIC, Ai Duo, director of CSCLF Research Center, consulate of New Zealand Embassy in China, relatives and friends of Rewi Alley and George Alwin Hogg, founders of ICPCIC, friends of Madame Soong Ching-ling, as well as representatives of ICPCIC, China Society for People's Friendship Studies and New Zealand-China Friendship Association, altogether over 80 participants.

The discussion on "Soong Ching-ling and ICPCIC--Chinese-Western Cultural Exchange" is held in the Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling.

The honorary certificates of new ICPCIC council members were awarded to relatives of Rewi Alley and George Alwin Hogg. When Michael Crook invited them to visit the former residence, 10 Little Times Gentlemen introduced the former residence and interacted with guests in English.
