On October 21, 2006, the summing-up meeting for the Fourth Round of the Nongfu Spring One Cent Public Benefit Activity and the Opening of the Lee Young Ah Primary School was held by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) and Nongfu Spring Co., Ltd in Langchuan Township, Chunan County in Zhejiang Province. Mr. Li Ning, Secretary General of CSCLF, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.

The Lee Young Ah Primary School was established with joint donations from CSCLF, Nongfu Springs Co., Ltd and the Korean movie star Lee Young Ah. This village primary school is modern with brand new desks and chairs and computers in the library.

On June 5, CSCLF and Nongfu Springs Co., Ltd held a press conference at the former residence of Soong Ching Ling to encourage people "to think of the sources of their drinking water". We want to encourage everyone, man or child, to protect the environment and the sources of our drinking water. That is the purpose of the "One Cent Public Benefit" activity initiated by Nongfu Springs.

In the four months since the start of the activity, a total of RMB4.39 million yuan has been invested in the "Think About the Source of Happiness" fund to provide education grants and aid to 1,502 students. Aid has also been given to 44 schools to improve their facilities, including 60,000 books, stays modern summer camps at four locations that are sources of our drinking water as well as a trip to Beijing for the national flag raising ceremony. All activities are designed to encourage patriotism.

The "Think About the Source of Happiness" activity has done more than just providing financial aid. The fund is especially focused on education of children. Money is used to rebuild school buildings and purchase equipment, establish libraries and organize summer camps. By receiving computer hardware and software, the students will have better learning opportunities. The activity also drew people's attention to the education situation in the areas that are water sources. The "Think About The Source of Happiness" public benefit activity truly met the aim of the programs "One Cent for One Bottle of Water" and "Every Cent Buys One Share of Strength" .
